Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed by 85.
That’s why, this Men’s Health Week, I’m making every step count.

My Updates
Elizabeth, my Prostate Cancer Nurse
Monday 10th Jun I met Elizabeth soon after my Urologist informed me that I had prostate cancer. You can imagine at that point I was feeling a whole bunch of things, and not knowing what was going to happen next. Elizabeth was simply amazing at helping me, and my wife, get comfortable with my new landscape, reassuring us I was in the best of hands with my doctor, while helping me to become familiar with was happening, the likely path ahead, and what my options would likely be. Elizabeth was present at every following appointment, and on the phone in between, patiently educating us and reassuring me that I was on the best possible track. The best part in all of this was that I never felt alone or isolated throughout the course of my treatment, and I know she is still there, just a phone call away. In fact, I'm going to call her tomorrow and let her know I'm doing something to raise some funds and increase awareness. ShareGet your PSA checked!!!
Sunday 26th May Ten months ago my annual blood tests showed an elevated PSA level, and my GP called for a second opinion. Further tests and scans were done and on the 1st of November my Urologist told me I had cancer in my prostate gland.Thank you to my sponsors
