Men’s Health Week.

I’m taking strides to save men’s lives.

Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed by 85.

That’s why, this Men’s Health Week, I’m making every step count.

Will you donate today and help fund new research to detect and defeat prostate cancer?

Help me help our men 🙏

Saturday 8th Jun
Hi there friends and family,

As many of you know 3 years ago my Dad was dealt the shocking blow of a prostate cancer diagnosis in the middle of COVID chaos.  This rocked our whole family and watching your number 1 hero and the toughest of the tough be stopped in his tracks by this cruel bastard of a disease was undoubtedly the hardest time I had managed in my adult life at that point.

3 years on we are so very blessed to still have this generous, rock solid and ever so slightly 😉 stubborn old bloke with us and I am thankful everyday for the wonders of modern medicine and medical specialists that questioned the why.

I have watched my Dad go through so many difficult and uncomfortable moments since his diagnosis and it is for that reason I have decided to get myself a little uncomfortable and commit to "WALK FOR HIM" next week for Men's Health Week and to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

So for my Dad, my brothers, my husband, my sons - this is for you. Next week I am pledging to walk 25km in the week in amongst a busy week already filled with work, my other fitness commitments and kids sporting activities. This won't be easy as I already don't have enough hours in my days but this isn't about doing something fun, fluffy and easy. This is meant to be hard to make me remember my WHY.

I have started the donations off by backing myself and I would be so humbled and grateful if you could either spare a few $$ to help me reach my goals or share this post to get my message out there.

Please help me not just help the present and future men in my life but for the present and future men in ALL of our lives.

Thank you xx
